1 new COVID case, 3 recover in Meghalaya
The state has recorded 1 new COVID-19 case and 3 recoveries on Friday.
Director of Health Services (MI) Dr Aman War said the new case detected and those recovered from the viral infection are from East Khasi Hills district.
So far, the state has detected a total of 13,932 COVID-19 cases out of which 164 are active cases, 13,620 recovered and 148 deaths.
East Khasi Hills has 107 active cases, West Jaintia Hills 29, Ri Bhoi 22, East Jaintia Hills 3, West Khasi Hills 2 and West Garo Hills 1.
On the other hand, of the 3,51,714 persons who have tested for COVID-19 in the state as on date, 3,37,782 were tested negative for the virus even as 53 persons are in institutional quarantine and 111 under home quarantine.
There are 91,069 entrants from outside the state.
