Meghalaya | 124 samples tested negative for COVID-19

Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma said a total of 142 tests for COVID-19 have been completed so far. He said 68 tests were done first out of which 6 tested positive and another 6 have been sent for retesting.

He said 52 tests of primary contacts were conducted at NEIGRIHMS, Shillong of which 26 were from Nongpoh, Ri Bhoi. “All tested negative,” he said. 

The CM said another 22 tests conducted at Barpeta Medical College have also come out negative adding awaiting another 21 results from the same. 

Yesterday, 50 samples sent to Guwahati Medical College Hospital tested negative for COVID-19.
