136.500 litres of Illicit liquor seized in East Khasi Hills

The Deputy Commissioner (Excise) in East Khasi Hills District conducted raids in April 2023 to combat illicit liquor.

The Excise staff detected 16 cases with a seizure of 136.500 litres of illicit liquor and 24.550 litres of IMFL. 13 individuals were arrested under the Excise Act.
