143 cases settled in Meghalaya Lok Adalat

A total of 1,065 cases were taken up during the National Lok Adalat held on March 8, across Meghalaya.

Of these, 143 cases were successfully settled, resulting in a settlement amount of Rs 75,18,326.

The Lok Adalat was organised by the Meghalaya State Legal Services Authority (MSLSA) under the patronage of Chief Justice IP Mukerji, Patron-in-Chief of MSLSA, and Justice HS Thangkhiew, Executive Chairman of MSLSA, under the aegis of the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA).
