1700 litres of IMFL seized in East Khasi Hills

In its continued drive against illicit liquor/illegal sale of IMFL, beer, wine etc, the office of the Deputy Commissioner (Excise), East Khasi Hills District conducted raids in restaurants/stalls in the town and its outskirts where during the month of April, 2022, the Excise staff detected 12 cases with a seizure of 61.400 litres of i/d liquor and 1.700 litres IMFL.

In this connection, 10 persons have been arrested under the Excise Act.
