202 youths from West Jaintia Hills aspire to become MCS
Acceding to the logical demands of the Jaintia Students Movement (JSM) for setting up coaching centre for jobs competitive examinations, the office of the Deputy Commissioner West Jaintia Hills District organized a one day Orientation programme for the MCS aspirants at District Library Auditorium in Mynthong, Jowai.
Speaking as resource person, Extra Assistant Commissioner WK Kharbuli gave a gist on how to prepare for MCS Prelims and Mains. He also discussed the importance of having a wide knowledge while preparing for the Prelims and to have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the subject while preparing for the Mains.
He encouraged the youths to focus on how to set the goals and measures needed to achieve them.

Sanatan Das Sub- Regional Employment Officer, National Career Service Centre for SC/ ST, Jowai, Directorate General of Employment, Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India through the powerpoint presentation gave tips to aspirants on how to prepare for MCS Personal interview.
Earlier, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Alexander S Mukhim said the purpose of organising the orientation programme is to help the aspiring youths how to go about in preparing for the MCS examination.
A total of 202 aspiring youths attended the Orientation Programme.
