25000 youths of Meghalaya elected new office bearers of State Youth Congress
The All India National Congress on Tuesday asserted that the new office bearers of the Meghalaya Pradesh Youth Congress (MPYC) was elected by more than 25,000 youths of the State via a digital process.
Taking a cue from the newly formed Voice of People Party, the Congress party not only announced the name of the office beaers but also mentioned their educational qualifications
Adrian L Chyne Mylliem elected as President of the MPYC is a Psychology Graduate from Singapore.
L Banphira Lang Basaiawmoit (Vice President) who holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Application from Bangalore University. Lashimtimon Kharsohtun (Vice President) is a B.Tech Graduate from NEHU; while Henry Kharmuti (Vice President), a Graduate in Arts stream from MBOSE, Dawan Richmond Rynjah (General Secretary) who is pursuing BA English Honors from NEHU, Lakyntiew Sohkhlet (General Secretary), Master’s degree in Arts, M.Phil in Linguistics from NEHU, Albert Dkhar (General Secretary), an HSSLC passed in Commerce Stream from MBOSE. Anish Syiem (General Secretary) is Masters Degree in Physical Education from Pune.
Cuthbert W K Sohtun (General Secretary), Kitdor Wahlang (General Secretary), B.Com Graduate from NEHU and Cecilia Barishisha Lyngdoh (General Secretary).
“The Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee is putting more focus on quality of political leaders with an intent to deliver on the present as well as the future generation,” said Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee General Secretary Sanjay Das.
The Party has also appointed Manuel Badwar, an IIM Calcutta Graduate in Finance and Marketing as the President of East Shillong Constituency.
