3 new Covid-19 cases, 5 recoveries in Meghalaya
The state has recorded 3 new COVID-19 cases and 5 recoveries on Wednesday, Director of Health Services (MI) Dr Aman War said.
Dr War informed that the new cases include 2 from East Khasi Hills district and 1 East Jaintia Hills district while the 5 patients who recovered from the viral infection are from East Khasi Hills district.
So far, the state has detected a total of 13,958 COVID-19 cases out of which 18 are active cases, 13,792 recovered and 148 deaths.
East Khasi Hills has 14 active cases, East Jaintia Hills 2, West Khasi Hills 1 and South West Garo Hills 1.
On the other hand, of the 3,64,517 persons who have tested for COVID-19 in the state as on date, 3,50,559 were tested negative for the virus even as 10 persons are in institutional quarantine and 8 under home quarantine.
There are 92,927 entrants from outside the state.
