4.0 earthquake hits East Garo Hills
An earthquake measuring 4.0 magnitude on the Richter scale hits East Garo Hills, Meghalaya at around 13:03 pm on Friday. The depth was recorded to be 5 km, informed the National Center for Seismology.
There was no report of any damage in the state.
Meanwhile, an earthquake measuring 7.2 magnitude on the Richter scale hit Myanmar at around 11:50 am on Friday.
The earthquake was measured to be at a depth of 10 km.
Later, at around 12:02 pm, another 7.0 magnitude shook the country again.
The impact of the earthquake was such that tremors were felt in Delhi NCR.
