4 arrested, huge cache of explosives seized in Raliang

The state police have arrested four persons along with huge cache of explosives in West Jaintia Hills District.

District Superintendent of Police, Bikram D Marak told reporters that the accused persons were arrested while conducting naka checking at Raliang.

From their possession, 4,500 gelatin sticks, 4,000 detonators, and 4 drums of diesel oil (200 ltrs eac) were recovered, he said.

A case has been registered against the accused persons and investigation is on.
