50 samples tested negative for COVID-19

The Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department, Meghalaya has informed that the Health Department has received information from Guwahati Medical College Hospital at 3:30 p.m. today that the 50 samples that had been sent on 14^th April, 2020 have been tested Negative for COVID-19. The Government is awaiting the results of 43 samples sent to Barpeta Medical College and the results are expected tonight.

It may be mentioned here that all samples are taken from the medical staff and in-patients of Bethany Hospital, Shillong on 14^th April, 2020
