5th Meghalaya State Shooting Championship concludes

SHILLONG: The two day ‘5th Meghalaya State Shooting Championship 2019’ concludes on Sunday at Assam Regiment Center, Shillong. The event was organized by the Shooting Association of Meghalaya affiliated to the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) and Meghalaya State Olympic Association(MSOA).

Banteidor Lyngdoh Minister of Sports & Youth Affairs Govt. Of Meghalaya, in his speech as the chief guest said that the governments extend full support for the development of sports in Meghalaya and he also added that the approval of the state sports policy shows the seriousness of the government in this matter.

Besides the chief guest, the dignitaries presence were guest of honour GSO-1 ARC. Lt Col. R Pankaj, Rituraj Bhagawati ISSF Judge, John Kharshiing President SAM, Davis R Marak IPS, Vice President SAM, Neil Sootinck General Secretary SAM, Dominic Sutnga Treasurer SAM, President/Secretaries of the Shooting Clubs affiliated to the State Shooting Association of Meghalaya and EC members SAM.
