6 new COVID-19 cases in Meghalaya
The state has recorded six new COVID-19 cases on Saturday.
Director of Health Services (MI) Dr Aman War informed that the new cases include 2 from East Khasi Hills district and 4 from Ri Bhoi district.
So far, the state has detected a total of 13,992 COVID-19 cases out of which 26 are active cases, 13,818 recovered and 148 deaths.
East Khasi Hills has 17 active cases, Ri Bhoi 6 and West Garo Hills 3.
On the other hand, of the 3,83,450 persons who have tested for COVID-19 in the state as on date, 3,69,458 were tested negative for the virus even as 15 persons are in institutional quarantine and 11 under home quarantine.
There are 95,755 entrants from outside the state.
