Meghalaya | 6 relatives of first COVID-19 patient tested positive
Six more people have been tested positive for COVID-19 in Meghalaya, which also had its first casualty of the contagious disease on Wednesday.
This was confirmed by the Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma, hours after the passing away of the owner of Bethany Hospital, Dr John L Sailo Ryntathiang, who was the first COVID-19 patient in he state.

“Of the 68 tested so far, 6 have come out positive who are all family members & helpers of the 1st COVID-19 positive case. 6 other cases are being tested,” the CM tweeted.
He however confirmed that all the rest of the cases are negative.
It may be mentioned here that the health authorities have been able to establish over 200 primary contacts of the first COVID-19 patient.
