8 days after escape, Phantom rearrested in Shillong

SHILLONG: A hardcore criminal also known as ‘Phantom’ was re-arrested by the police from the city on Wednesday.

This was after the criminal David Lyngdoh Marshillong managed to escape from a toilet at the Deputy Commissioner’s office on March 6, when he was brought for hearing before a Court.

David is also fearfully known as “Bah Jyllud” or “Massage man”, as he used to enter people’s houses and disturb women at night.

Confirming the rearrest of the criminal, East Khasi Hills SP (City), SA Rynjah said that David was arrested from Madanrting area .
