91 year old mother recovers from COVID-19 in South West Garo Hills

Smt Anati Koch, a 91 year old mother of an ANM worker from Kumligaon, South West Garo Hills, have fully recovered from COVID-19.  She was bed ridden after a hip dislocation and after the Asha worker, who was taking care of her, got tested positive for COVID-19, on 15th May, 2021, the medical team went to her house and tested her for COVID-19, upon which she was tested positive.

During her 10 days of isolation, she could not eat properly as she had altered taste and loss of appetite. But on the 11th day after her isolation period, she was tested again and this time the test resulted in negative.

18 other locals of Kumligaon village who were tested positive of COVID-19 have also recovered fully .
