92 recruit constables passed out

A Passing Out Parade of the 3^rd Batch Basic Training, Recruit Constables of 6^th Battalion Meghalaya Police and Homeguards & Civil Defence was held on Tuesday at Armed Police Training Centre of 6th Battalion Meghalaya  Police, Umran, Ri Bhoi District.

A total of 92 Recruit Constables passed out.

A R Mawthoh, IPS, Commandant General Homeguards and Director of Civil Defence of Meghalaya was the chief guest on this occasion and reviewed the parade.

• Best Disciplined Trainee               –     Battalion WP Recruit Constable Nambilla B Sangma

• Best Trainee in Musketry              –     Home Guard Recruit Constable Riboksan D Sawian

• Best Trainee in Outdoor Subjects  –   Battalion Recruit Constable Aiboklang Lyngkhoi

• Best Trainee in Drill                       –     Home Guard Recruit Constable Lamborlang Nongpiur

• All Round Best Trainee                  –     Home Guard Recruit Constable Sunit Hajong

The Deputy Commissioner of Ri Bhoi District, Nongpoh RM Kurbah, IAS, Commandant 6th MLP Battalion Lakador Syiem, Senior Officers of Meghalaya Police and Homeguards & Civil Defence Department were also present in the programme.
