95.700 litres of liquors seized in East Khasi Hills

In its continued drive against illicit liquor/illegal sale of IMFL, beer, wine etc, the Excise Office under Deputy Commissioner East Khasi Hills District conducted raids in restaurants/stalls in the town and its outskirts during the month of September, 2022.

The Excise staff detected 19 cases with a seizure of 95.700 litres of i/d liquor and 37.205 litres IMFL and arrested, 16 persons under the Excise Act.
