A tribute: ‘Beyond the Call of Duty’ (Music Video) launched

Deputy Commissioner, West Jaintia Hills, Garod LSN Dykes, IAS launched the West Jaintia District Executive Force’s Music Video –‘Beyond the Call of Duty’ – We Shall over Come’ today in a conference room, held at SP office, Jowai.

DC Garod thanked and appreciated the efforts put in by the police force to combat COVID-19 especially during the period of lockdown. He also thanked the Police Force and all proactive supporters from all communities in uniting together to combat the pandemic Corona Virus and helping to break the chain.

The Initiative was undertaken by Lakador Syiem, Superintendent of Police, West Jaintia Hills to honour and pay tribute to the entire District Executive Force for their dedication and service in the fight against COVID-19. The Superintendent of Police also said that, the song is attributed to all Police Forces for their untiring service, who have placed the public above their own safety to combat the spread of COVID-19.  He also express his gratitude all those involved in making the Video.

The Programme was chaired by DSP M J Marngar, attended by Additional Superintendent Police Shri. B. Chettri and other police officers.
