ABDM Scan & Share program launched at NEIGRIHMS Hospital

Dr. (Prof). Nalin Mehta, Director of NEIGRIHMS, officially launched the ABDM Scan & Share implementation program at NEIGRIHMS Hospital’s ground floor OPD Block on Saturday.

The event was attended by Ram Kumar, Secretary of Health & Family Welfare Department, Dr. HC Lyndem, Director of Health Services (MI), Government of Meghalaya and other distinguished officials.

The Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission is dedicated to advancing digital health services and achieving Universal Health Coverage for all individuals throughout the country, as per the World Health Organisation objectives. NHA through ABDM introduced a QR-Code based solution in ABDM empanelled facilities, allowing patients to scan QR codes and share their demographic information with their consent. This process will drastically eliminate the long queue during the peak OPD registration time and subsequently, this will bring down the turnaround time and overall bring in new experience to the patients.
