ABVP demands free transportation for students appearing JEE-NEET exams

The ABVP-Meghalaya has demanded the state government to provide basic facilities which includes transportation and accomodation for the students who will be appearing for the upcoming JEE and NEET examination. 

In a letter to the Chief Minister, Conrad K Sangma, AVBP state secretary D Tang said, “Since the central government had already given a green signal to conduct the examination (which is scheduled from 1st to 6th September), I request you to kindly provide free transportation from the residence of the candidates to the venue of the examination.”

Stating that health is a priority in view of ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Tang further requested the government to provide adequate masks, sanitizers and face shields to students, who will be appearing for the examination.
