ABVP Meghalaya to host 8th State Conference to empower youth and educators
The 8th State Conference of ABVP Meghalaya, set from November 12th to 14th, 2024, aims to unite youth, educators, and community leaders to discuss critical issues for Meghalaya’s progress.
The event will be inaugurated by the Governor of Meghalaya, CH Vijayashankar, and will feature Cabinet Minister A.L. Hek as the Guest of Honour. Dr. Sudipta Mukhopadhya, National Vice-President of ABVP, will deliver the keynote address.
The conference’s vibrant inaugural session will see participation from notable entrepreneurs, social activists, educationists, and other distinguished figures, emphasizing collaboration to guide and uplift Meghalaya’s youth. One highlight is the Role Model session, featuring motivational talks from successful individuals across various fields, aiming to inspire attendees with real-life insights and advice.
Sessions will cover a wide range of topics, including education, environmental sustainability, and entrepreneurship, engaging participants in meaningful discussions on regional and global challenges. Expert speakers will share their knowledge, encouraging innovative solutions and strategies for improvement. These discussions will result in the formulation of resolutions that reflect the participants’ consensus and recommendations, which will be submitted to the government as formal proposals.
The conference serves as a dynamic platform for empowerment, knowledge exchange, and action, equipping the youth with the tools and confidence needed to contribute meaningfully to society.
