ADC entrusted as in charge DC East Garo Hills after DC transferred to West Garo Hills District

In a minor bureaucratic reshuffle, the Meghalaya Government transferred out Jagdish Chelani as the  Deputy Commissioner of West Garo Hills District and replaced him with  Vibhor Aggarwal who is the Deputy Commissioner of East Garo Hills District but left East Garo Hills District under the charge of an Additional Deputy Commissioner.

According to the notification issued on April 11, this year, CVD Diengdoh, IAS (RR: 2010) Commissioner & Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Personnel & A. R. etc., Departments, shall also function as Additional Project Director of the ADB funded Integrated Eco-Tourism and Sustainable Agri-based Livelihood Development Project in Meghalaya.

Ram Kumar S, IAS (RR: 2013) Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Health & Family Welfare, Programme Implementation & Evaluation Departments and Mission Director, National Health Mission, Managing Director, Meghalayan Medical Drugs and Services Limited and as Executive Director, State Skills Development Society etc., is relieved of his functions as Mission Director, National Health Mission, Managing Director, Meghalayan Medical Drugs and Services Limited and as Executive Director, State Skills Development Society.

He shall, however, continue to function as Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Health & Family Welfare Department.

David D. Sangma, IAS (SCS: 2015) Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Transport Department etc., shall also function as Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Education Department.

R Chitturi, IAS (RR: 2016) Additional Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Finance etc., Departments and Commissioner of Taxes shall also function as Mission Director, National Health Mission, and as Managing Director, Meghalayan Medical Drugs and Services Limited. He is, however, relieved of his functions as Commissioner of Taxes.

 Jagdish Chelani, IAS (RR: 2018) Deputy Commissioner, West Garo Hills District, Tura is transferred and posted as Commissioner of Taxes and as Executive Director, Meghalaya State Skill Development Society.

Vibhor Aggarwal, IAS (RR: 2019) Deputy Commissioner, East. Garo Hills District, Williamnagar is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, West Garo Hilles District, Tura.

Richard Yanthan, IAS (RR: 2020) Joint Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Health and Family Welfare etc., Departments shall also function as Joint Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Sports & Youth Affairs Department.

Saloni Verma, IAS (RR: 2021) Deputy Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, Food Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Department etc., shall also function as Executive Director, Meghalaya Basin Management Agency, Additional Chief Executive Officer, Sustainable Transport and Efficient Mobility Society under the Planning Investment Promotion & Sustainable Development Department and as Additional Project Director, KFW funded Sustainable Land Management Project.

Rikse R. Marak, MCS, Joint Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Chief Minister’s Secretariat and Chief Executive Officer, Tura Municipal Board etc., is relieved of her functions as Chief Executive Officer, Tura Municipal Board.

Reuben Ch. Momin, MCS, Additional Deputy Commissioner East Garo Hills District, Williamnagar shall also hold charge as Deputy Commissioner, East Garo Hills District, Williamnagar.

Florina Boro, MCS, Additional Deputy Commissioner West Garo Hills District, Tura shall also function as Chief Executive Officer, Tura Municipal Board.
