ADG Ram Prasad Meena reviews border security during visit to BSF Frontier Meghalaya

Ram Prasad Meena, IPS, Additional Director General (HR), BSF New Delhi, reviewed the current security scenario and discussed various operational and administrative aspects of Border management on his two days visit from 26 to 27 March 2024 to BSF Frontier Meghalaya.

On 26 March 2024, ADG was welcomed by IG BSF Meghalaya Harbax Singh Dhillon and other senior officers followed by a “Guard of Honour” at Officers’ Institute, Shillong. Further, IG BSF Meghalaya briefed the ADG about the current security scenario along the Indo-Bangladesh International border of the Meghalaya Frontier.

ADG also paid a visit to DP Wahlang, IAS, Chief Secretary, Government of Meghalaya, and Dr LR Bishnoi, IPS, DGP Meghalaya.

On March 27th, 2024, the ADG visit concluded after addressing officers and Jawans during a Prahari Sammelan at Ftr HQ Umpling, Shillong and visiting the under-construction composite Hospital building at Mawpat, Shillong.
