Admissions Open for D.El.Ed Programme in Meghalaya: Apply by June 7

The Director, Directorate of Educational Research & Training, Meghalaya, Shillong, Smti RS Manners, MCS, has issued a notice inviting online applications from eligible candidates who are bonafide citizens of India and permanent residents of Meghalaya for admission to the 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) programme for the academic session 2024-26.

This programme is offered at the seven District Institutes of Education and Training (DIETs) across the state.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates who have passed Class XII or its equivalent examination from a recognized Board/Council with a minimum of 50% marks.

A 5% relaxation in marks is available for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PwD categories.
