AITC submits list of 36 star campaigners for Gambegre bye poll

Chairperson of the All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) Mamata Banerjee will campaign for the party candidate Sadhiarani M Sangma during the ongoing bye-election to the Gambegre Assembly seat.

The party has submitted a list of 36 star campaigners to the Election Commission.

They include AITC national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee, state in-charge Dr Manas Ranjan Bhunia, state president Charles Pyngrope, leader of opposition Mukul Sangma, state vice president Zenith M Sangma, sitting MLAs and MDCs, former MLAs and other party leaders and workers.

Bye-election to the Gambegre seat will be held on November 13.
