All India Bank strike on 19 Nov

The All India Bank Employees (AIBEA) has called for an All India Bank strike on November 19, next where the public sector banks in Meghalaya will also be affected.

The one day bank strike is called against increasing attacks on trade unions, rights, jobs and job security violation of bipartite settlement & ID act. Harassment of employees by transfers in violation of settlements and victimisations beside denial of wage revision in CSB bank.

The Association are demanding sanctity of bipartite settlement.
