Ampareen says she is okay if not given govt accommodation: CM
Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma on Tuesday ruled out that the suspended Congress Legislature Party (CLP) leader Ampareen Lyngdoh will be accommodated in the MDA government.
“Ampareen had mentioned specifically that even though she may not be accommodated, she is okay with it. She said she would like to work in a productive manner and support the government in whatever way possible,” Sangma told reporters.
He said that the CLP leader has been very clear that it (accommodation) is not something that is priority to her.
“Based on that we will see and we will discuss how to move forward,” Sangma assured.
On February 18, four out of five suspended Congress MLAs were appointed as co-chairmen in the MDA government.
