Anomalies in scholarships disbursement rectified

The Meghalaya Directorate of Higher & Technical (DHTE) informed students availing Post Matric Scholarship that the Government has taken necessary actions to rectify anomalies blocking disbursement of scholarships.

According to official notification, all applicants who had applied for Umbrella Scheme of Post Matric Scholarship for ST students 2021-22 whose application status marked as “Payment file rejected at PFMS. Rejection reason returned by the PFMS :- “NA”. Scheme owner ministry/Department may take further necessary action.”

The DHTE informed the applicants that they need not come to the O/o Director of Higher and Technical Education, Shillong to raise queries regarding the disbursement of their scholarships.

All payment files generated have been released and sent to the bank for further processing. Payment files which may have been rejected at PFMS level is being checked and notified to NSP for necessary action.

Any queries may be raised only after all the payment files have been cleared for payment.
