ANWU decides to temporarily suspend agitations

The All NEHU Workers’ Union (ANWU) on Thursday decided to temporarily suspend their agitations following assurances made by the University Negotiation Committee.

In a statement, the Union thanked the University Negotiation Committee for the assurances made in response to its demands.

The Union also expressed its gratitude to the NEHU VC for putting time and effort to negotiate with the agitating workers in a very positive way.

Meanwhile, the Union urged the authority to direct the controlling officers of the university not to transfer or overburden the work to the casual workers after they resume back their duties.
