The hospital’s Spine Care team employs a holistic 360-degree approach to treating spinal conditions, including congenital issues, degenerative diseases, trauma, and tumours. Their advanced techniques integrate imaging technologies and innovative methods to deliver personalized and effective care.
Shameem Ahmed emphasized the benefits of MISS, stating, “Our advanced techniques allow us to provide structural support with minimal surgical impact, enhancing accuracy and recovery.” The hospital is also exploring innovative therapies like stem cell applications for spinal cord injuries and spinal cord stimulation, further underscoring its leadership in advanced spine care.
In addition to surgical advancements, Apollo Hospitals Guwahati recently hosted a Continuing Medical Education (CME) event to share expertise on managing complex minimally invasive cases. This reflects their commitment to fostering medical excellence and improving access to transformative healthcare solutions in Northeast India.
