Applications invited for availing financial assistance under Chief Ministers Youth Development Scheme
The Deputy Commissioner & Chairman CMYDS (Chief Ministers Youth Development Scheme), West Jaintia Hills District, Jowai has informed that the West Jaintia Hills District Chief Minister’s Youth Development Scheme invites applications from registered organizations for Financial Assistance under the Chief Minister’s Youth Development Scheme 2022-2023.
The Scheme shall extend financial aid to registered entities: Societies and Cooperatives, Voluntary Organizations, Sports/Youths/Cultural Clubs and Associations, Socio Cultural Clubs, Alumni Associations, Community level youth institutions/organizations/groups. Registered Sports Associations and entities, District Level State Government Department.
Activities and programmes include Organization of District Level Youth festivals, Cleanliness drive in localities in the District, Workshops & Seminars, industry-specific, exposure trips, youth career counseling fairs, sports events and tournaments. Organization of Chief Minister’s Tournament/cup in various sporting disciplines, ingenious sports competitions, community regeneration volunteering programmes, financial & literacy workshops and seminars, digital literacy workshops and programmes.
Organization of mental wellbeing seminars/workshops/counseling programmes, campaigns and programmes in line with the Sports Authority on India’s Fit India campaign, Neighborhood youth parliaments. Tournament/competition/events participation, procurement of sports equipment and consumables and Undertaking minor repair works sports infrastructure.
Documents to be attached along with the application -valid Registration Certificate, first page of Bank Passbook along with IFSC Code of the bank and detailed estimate. The last date for submission of application is 30th April, 2023
