Applications open for Wholesaler/Govt. Nominees in Amlarem Sub-Division
The Sub-Divisional Officer (Supply) of Amlarem invites applications for Wholesalers/Govt. Nominees for the calendar years 2025 and 2026. Eligible firms, companies, cooperative societies, self-help groups (SHGs), and individuals can apply to manage government approved distribution centers at Amlarem, Nongtalang, Dawki, and Muktapur.
There are two nominations for the wholesaler centers in Amlarem and one each in Nongtalang, Dawki, and Muktapur. Application forms are available at the office of the Sub-Divisional Officer (Supply), Amlarem Sub-Division during office hours
The deadline for applications is September 30, 2024.
Applicants must be residents of Meghalaya for at least 10 years, literate, and cannot be Headman, Village Secretary, or Executive Committee members. Required documents include proof of reservation category, Aadhaar card, EPIC, bank passbook, and a trading license for non-tribals.
Public institutions such as Self-Help Groups and Co-operatives are preferred if they provide a registration certificate. A certified weighing scale is required if selected. The location must be suitable for storage and distribution. Financial and social standing should be satisfactory.
Applications must include a Rs. 25 Court Fee Stamp, three attested passport-sized photographs, and a bank guarantee of Rs. 1,00,000 for tribals and Rs. 2,00,000 for non-tribals. Proof of godown availability and valid sales/professional tax certificates are also needed.
