Armed miscreants apprehended

SHILLONG:  On Mar. 10 around 2.30 am, residents of Lummawbah detected three persons roaming in one motorcycle (without number plate) in the locality. When the residents attempted to stop them, one managed to escape, while two persons, viz., (1) Shri Albert Kurbah (33 yrs) of Lad-Mawreng (EKH) and (2) Shri Barabar Namsaw (22 yrs) of Patharkhmah (RB) sustained injuries while jumping from a wall.

They were taken to Civil Hospital Shillong and later referred to NEIGRIHMS. Police recovered one country-made revolver with live ammunition from the spot.
