Arunachal minister Dasanglu Pul launches special vaccination drive to boost immunization

Arunachal Pradesh Women and Child Development Minister Dasanglu Pul on Tuesday launched the Special Vaccination Campaign 3.0 at the KPMDH Conference Hall in Swami Camp, aiming to increase immunization coverage across the region.
The campaign focuses on boosting Td10 and Td16 vaccine coverage, achieving 95% immunization for Measles-Rubella (MR1 and MR2), ensuring all eligible children (6 weeks to 1 year) receive the Pentavalent-1 vaccine and eliminating zero-dose children.
Speaking at the launch, Pul emphasized the importance of immunization in protecting children from preventable diseases and called on local authorities to ensure the campaign’s success. “This initiative reaffirms the government’s commitment to a healthier future for all,” she stated.
In addition to vaccination efforts, Pul announced her adoption of three tuberculosis (TB) patients, pledging government support for their treatment and care. She stressed the need for collective action to eradicate TB and achieve a disease-free society.
The event was attended by Anjaw Superintendent of Police Riki Kamsi, Hayuliang Circle Officer Nyalen Hakom, Anjaw BJP President Bakhetso Tawsik, and other officials.
