Assam Governor encourages educational institutions to promote Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue
Assam Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya has called on higher educational institutions in the state to actively participate in and promote the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue, scheduled as part of the re-imagined National Youth Festival 2025.
The Governor held a hybrid-mode meeting with institutional heads at the Raj Bhavan to discuss preparations and mobilize participation for the event.
Acharya emphasized the importance of student involvement in the dialogue, particularly through the Viksit Bharat Challenge, a platform for students to showcase their understanding of India’s growth across various sectors.
The Governor urged institutional heads to ensure widespread participation by motivating students to register on the MY Bharat Portal (mybharat.gov.in).
Highlighting the critical role of educational institutions, the Governor stated, “Institutions are the crucibles where ideas take shape, and leaders are nurtured. As leaders of educational institutions, you play a vital role in making this initiative a success.”
Institutions that achieve higher levels of registration and participation will be acknowledged and awarded at Raj Bhavan, providing additional motivation for engagement.
The Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue aims to inspire the next generation to contribute actively to India’s growth and development, fostering leadership and a forward-thinking mindset among youth. Governor Acharya’s proactive approach underscores the transformative potential of the event, encouraging institutions to play a central role in shaping India’s future leaders.
