Assam, M’laya border panels inspect Malang Joypur

The regional committee for West Khasi Hills led by cabinet minister Renikton Lyngdoh Tongkhar on Sunday conducted a joint inspection with its Assam counterpart. 

Tongkhar informed that the inspection was conducted at Malang Joypur. He said the teams interacted with people of Malang Joypur, Malang Salbari, Amigow, Haupara. 

“People have gathered in big crowd and expressed their opinion positvely,” he said. 

The regional committees of both the states have been asked to submit reports to their respective chief ministers – Himanta Biswa Sarma and Conrad K Sangma by November 30.
