Athletes from East Khasi Hills ready for Meghalaya Games

The East Khasi Hills District Athletics Association bid farewell to its talented athletes on January 17 as they embark on their journey to compete at the 6th Meghalaya Games, 2025, taking place at Wahiajer Stadium, West Jaintia Hills from January 22-24, 2025.

The sendoff ceremony, held at S.A.I, STC, Shillong, was attended by members of the association and the athletes’ family members. The athletes received well-wishes as they prepare to represent the association on the state level stage.

“We are incredibly proud of our athletes and all their hard work and dedication,” said Kyrshanbok Marbaniang, General Secretary, East Khasi Hills District Athletics Association. “We are confident that they will make the association and the East Khasi Hills District proud and bring home outstanding results.”

The athletes, who have been training tirelessly for months, expressed their gratitude for the support and encouragement they have received from the association’s coaches.
