Balichar Winter Festival 2025: A riverside celebration on the Brahmaputra

Brahmanda Tourism, in collaboration with BIG FM as the official radio partner, presents the Balichar Winter Festival 2025. This vibrant, week-long event promises an unforgettable experience, blending culture, creativity, and riverside adventure.

Scheduled from January 6 to 13, the festival will take place at the scenic Balichar, near the iconic Umananda Temple by the Brahmaputra River.

Open daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., the festival promises a wide range of attractions for people of all ages. Savour traditional flavours at the ethnic food stalls, participate in exciting outdoor sports, and dance to the beats of live DJ performances. For those with artistic flair, the drawing and recitation competitions provide a platform to showcase talent.

This year, visitors can make their picnic time truly special with the festival’s serene riverside ambience. Gather your family and friends to enjoy a delightful day out, surrounded by the natural beauty of Balichar. To enhance the experience, boat and ship rides will be available, offering a unique opportunity to connect with the Brahmaputra River and enjoy stunning views.

To ensure easy access, a pickup point at Jolpori Ghat, Fancy Bazar has been arranged. BIG FM will keep the festive vibes alive across the region, amplifying the joy and excitement of the event.
