Bangladeshi apprehended in East Jaintia Hills

One Bangladeshi national who has allegedly entered Indian Territory was apprehended by residents of Borsora village in East Jaintia Hills District.

According to Coy Commander, F-Coy 97 Bn BSF, Lejri BOP (EJH) who have lodged a complaint said that on April 2 around 7.40 pm, residents of Borsora with the help of VDP members apprehended one Bangladeshi national, Jasim Uddin (21 yrs) of Assampada (Nihalpur Mohalla), Saraighat under Kanaighat PS, Sylhet, Bangladesh.

Jasim Uddin was handed over to Police at Umkiang Patrolling Post for necessary action.
