Be SMART & analysis SWOT for success in study

The Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Umswai, West Karbi Anglong District, Assam conducted a two days Orientation Programme from Tuesday for the students of Classes XI and XII in the School Auditorium.
Addressing as Resource Person Bisharlang Pyngrope, the Meghalaya Convenor of All India Education Forum (AIEF) insisted them to set a goal based on SMART i.e. Specific, Measurable, Action-Oriented, Realistic and Time-Bound.
Moreover, he asked the students to develop a good study habit to achieve the goal set.
He asked them to be aware about SWOT analysis, i.e., Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats. He also spoke about the importance of time management and the benefit of having a daily routine and a monthly routine.
The Orientation Program was beneficial for all the stakeholders who in return shared their experiences and the joy in different activities that was given to them as individual and a group.
The session on Students of the 21st Century was a culmination point of learning for the students as they were made aware about the four important skills needed for students of the century the critical thinking-problem solving skill, communication skill, collaborative skill and creativity skill.
