Bengaluru Football Club to conduct trials in Meghalaya
A golden opportunity awaits the young budding footballers of the State of Meghalaya for doning the uniform of a metro city based football club.
The golden opportunity came knocking all the way from South India the Bengaluru FC who as part of its continuous Youth Development Programme will conduct trials to its U13, U15 and U18 Residential Academy Teams over the course of the next month.
The Club will conduct trials in Meghalaya are scheduled on 30th & 31st of May 2022 at the Polo stadium (MFA, turf) in Shillong & on 1st & 2nd of June 2022 at the Umsning Sports Cultural Club in Ri Bhoi while on 3rd & 4th of June 2022 at the U Kiang Nangbah Stadium in Jowai. The trials will be conducted by our Licensed Youth Coaches and Scouts.
Players with potential will be invited to a final round of trials at the club’s Residential Academy, in Bellary
The Club informed the President, Meghalaya Football Association to create awareness on their scouting programmes with the database available with the Meghalaya State Football Association.
The Bengaluru FC Residential Academy, established in 2016, has produced many young players who currently represent I-League and Indian Super League clubs, while several of them are currently with the Bengaluru FC First Team.
“Our aim is to induct players with potential to improve into our system, with the plan to nurture them in a bid to represent our first team, and also the Indian National Team in the future,” the club said.
The fully funded Residential Academy at the Inspire Institute of Sport in Bellary will provide the best and state-of-the-art facilities required for them to excel.
