Bethany Hospital thanked its superheroes
The Bethany Hospital has expressed its gratitude to the chief minister Conrad K Sangma and the entire state government for its help and support to the hospital.
In a letter of appreciation and gratitude issued here on Sunday, the hospital’s nodal officer, Dr Kyntiewlang Sanmiet said, “I am very much enthused to express my profound gratitude to Chief Minister, Conrad Sangma, his team of Ministers and the entire government for helping us during these very difficult times. Your willingness to help out whenever there is a need is greatly appreciated.”
“(To) Sampath Kumar IAS and whole DoHFW, Ram Kumar IAS, Vijay Kumar IAS, Dr. Aman War and Directorate of Health Services: Thank you for being trustworthy and unbiased guides in taking care of all our healthcare workers and patients; for making sure that all our needs are available; for reaching into the dark corners of medical ignorance and fear with education and services. Thank you for being caring enough to provide healthy meals for us every day at our hospital and quarantine centres.
I would also sincerely commend Claudia Lyngwa & her team of police officers and also Matsiewdor War and her office for helping us in smooth transport of our needs at this very difficult time. You have my full respect and support for all that you are doing. Thankyou very much. Please continue to serve with pride and dignity in these very difficult times,” Dr Sanmiet said.
“(We expressed) appreciation and gratitute to all our current superheroes who are spending their days and nights to make sure that everyone has access to medical care, food, transportation and other vital services and for fighting the coronavirus pandemic wreaking havoc over our entire society.”
Dr Sanmiet further thanked all the health workers of the hospital for their unrelenting commitment and cooperation.
“I am also humbled at the bravery, hard work and dedication of our troops at the frontline in our hospitals.
Each one of you is an example of love, courage, care and compassion,” he said.
The hospital also thanked those who are staying at home in self-isolation to do their part in flattening this curve and said, “Your actions are saving lives.”
It also thanked all the journalists and public health officials who spend countless hours keeping us informed with truthful news and advice to keep us safe.
