BJP candidate from Jowai South bagged 23 votes only while VPP East Jaintia Hills Organizing Secy failed to cross 1000 votes

Heimonmitre Phawa, BJP Candidate from Jowai South Constituency (BJP) bagged the lowest votes in the general election to the Jaintia Hills Autonomous District Council (JHADC) as he bagged 23 votes only out of 10795 votes polled and there are another seven candidates who failed to secure more than 100 votes in respective constituencies while Voice of the People Party (VPP) East Jaintia Hills District Organizing Secretary Damewanhi Rymbai managed to secure 997 votes only out of 9624 votes polled in Musniang Rangad constituency.

The general election to the JHADC was held on the 21st of this month while the counting of votes was held on the 24 of this month and the counting was held in three different locations namely office of the SDO (Civil), Amlarem, office of the DC, West Jaintia Hills District Jowai and office of the DC, East Jaintia Hills District, Khliehriat.

In War Central Constituency, out of 7911 votes polled, Romeo Lyngdoh (INC) bagged 82 votes and in War West Central Constituency, out of 9519 votes polled, Blon Singh Hayong (IND) got 470 votes.

Out of 10961 votes polled in Amwi Khliehtyrchi constituency, Pil Khyriem (BJP) bagged 52 and Heiboklang Suting (IND) got 547 votes and in Mukhla Ummulong constituency, out of 9739 votes polled, Bitos Sari (INC) bagged 152 votes while in Moodymmai Nongkhroh constituency, out of 8103 votes polled, Jona Rynjah (INC) got 66 votes.

In Nartiang Wahiajer Constituency, out of 8138 votes polled, Rimilanki Synnah (UDP) got 162 votes and in Mynso Nongjngi Constituency, out of 9638 votes polled, Carebasius Pasi (IND) bagged 412 votes and in Barato Mukroh Constituency, Sarlangki Dkhar (VPP) bagged 689 votes out of 8956 votes polled.

In Mowkaiaw Constituency, out of 9337 votes polled, Niawbait Ymbon (IND) bagged 501 votes and Pynbiangmi Laloo (INC) got 99 votes while in Raliang Constituency, out of 8231 votes polled, Welpard Suchiang (INC) got 625 votes.

In Jowai North Constituency, out 10013 votes polled, Khroo Lamsalanki Pariat (IND) got 643 votes and in Jowai South constituency, out of 10795 votes polled, Heimonmitre Pariat (BJP) got 23 votes.

In Muthlong Sohkymphor constituency, out of 12440 votes polled, Manbha Lyngdoh (BJP) bagged 213 votes and in Musniang Rangad constituency, out of 9624 votes polled, Brosent Siangshai (INC) 27 votes and Shanbor Rymbai (BJP) 76 votes and Damewanhi Rymbai (VPP) 997 votes.

In Sutnga Narwan constituency, out 9164 votes polled, Empress Pala (INC) got 255 votes and in Sutnga Nongkhlieh constituency, out of 8449 votes polled, Last Born Soul Sympli (VPP) 941 votes and Nehlangki Pala (HSPDP) got 45 votes.

In Saipung Nongkhlieh constituency, out of 7527 votes polled, Prince Sukhlain (VPP) bagged 977 votes and in Narpuh constituency, out of 10882 votes polled, Wanshwa Nongtdu (HSPDP) bagged 118 votes and Stanly Lamin (IND) 203 votes.
