BJP launches arigri.com to monitor the implementation of central schemes
BJP Garo Hills on Monday launched ‘Arigri.com’ in the presence of the State BJP President Rikman G Momin.
This website / app will monitor the implementation of the Center Schemes in the state through grassroot involvement of the beneficiariesand conerned citizens, BJP vice president and Tura MDC Bernard N Marak said in a statement.
He said many schemes have to be properly monitored and reported to the concerned departments in order to get the utilisation certificate.
But most of the schemes have turned into scams in many villages which cannot be comprised by BJP. Arigri which means “No boundaries” and “unlimited” in Garo aims to work to uplift the poor irrespective of party affiliation.
He also informed that Arigri will have a full time office and will serve as the grievance cell for those beneficiaries who have been deprived. There will be two level of teams working in Arigri. One is Center Scheme Monitoring Committee (CSMC) and other is Grassroot Review Organisation (GRO) which in Garo means debts.
Government is indebted to the voters in providing the best facilities which politicians have promised during elections but in reality the debts of the Government towards the voters are never met.
“Therefore, this app will provide a platform to pursue the promises made by their leaders by highlighting the needs and expectations of the voters. GRO will also be a platform for the youths to register their names for various flagship programmes which has been sponsored by the Center,” Marak said.
Arigri team will assist the youths to pursue their aspirations by providing support and help the youths in applying and availing the schemes from various departments.
CSMC on the other hand will monitor the implementation of all the Center Schemes like PMAY, JJM, PM KISAN, PMGKAY, MHIS, PMGSY, NREGA, IHHL etc including Primary Schools and Health Centers which needs immediate revamping in the State, he said while adding that Arigri is presently launched in Garo but will soon have English version and probably in Khasi and Jaintia too.
