BJP organizes cleaning drive at Tura

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Tura City District on Friday organised a cleaning drive at Tura.

Hundreds of people including senior citizens took part in the cleaning drive.

“This is one of the major activities taken up by BJP after the new District Presidents of Tura City District, Mahila Morcha and BJYM took over office,” BJP spokesperson Bernad N Marak said.

He informed that Ronald Sangma has been appointed the President of the Tura City District, Pilne A Sangma as the President of Mahila Morcha and Anish M Sangma as the President of BJYM.

He said all members of BJP are working hard to take BJP to a new height in Garo Hills where the opposition political parties have negated the noble initiatives of BJP Government. Boston Ch Marak, former CEM also took part in the cleaning drive. Face mask and sanitizers were also distributed to the public.
