BJP pays homage to father of the nation in Shillong

A BJP delegation led by South Shillong MLA Sanbor Shullai, Mahila Morcha President Susuki Pariat, Shillong City President H. Bob Lyngdoh and Gundresh Marak from Garo Hills paid homage to the Father of the Nation by garlanding his statue at the Secretariat on October 2.

A team of Mahila Morcha members and members from other morchas also joined the program.

Following the paying of homage, the team proceeded to Motphran and took part in a cleaning drive in keeping with the Prime Minister’s call for a ‘Swach Bharat’ – clean nation.
