BJP stand a chance to win Gambegre bye election: Hek

BJP leader and cabinet minister AL Hek on Thursday expressed

confidence that the party will win the Gambegre bye election, the result of which will be declared on November 23.

The party has fielded its state vice president and sitting Tura MDC Bernard N Marak as the candidate.

Hek said that people were showing enthusiasm to attend and listen to the BJP leaders during the election campaigning in the constituency.

“I don’t know about other political parties but for BJP, when I went for campaigning in Gambegre, wherever our public meeting was held, I saw people are very enthusiastic to listen to BJP and I hope when they have come always with families and with their friends and neighbours and everybody, BJP also stand a chance (to win) in this election,” he stated.
