BJP state president to meet leaders in Garo Hills tomorrow

BJP state president Ernest Mawrie will convene a meeting with leaders in Garo Hills region on Thursday.

“I am going to Tura tomorrow as I have fixed a meeting with all the district in-charge in Garo Hills. This will be followed with a meeting with all the district presidents in Garo Hills,” Mawrie told reporters on Wednesday.

During his visit to Garo Hills, the BJP leader said that he would also  meet important people including ex-MLAs and ex-MDCs to discuss with them the upcoming 2023 Assembly elections.

He however said there will be no joining programme tomorrow.  “But I hope after two-three weeks some people from Garo Hills ex-MLAs, ex-MDCs are going to join our party,” he said.
