Blood donation camp held at North East Adventist University

The Adventist Youth of North East Adventist University (NEAU) on Thursday organised a one day awareness cum blood donation camp at North East Adventist University Campus, Khliehtyrshi, West Jaintia Hills District.

A medical team led by Dr. P Shylla from Jowai Civil Hospital Blood Bank, Panaliar carried out the clinical activities.

39 donors have registered themselves out of which 19 youths donated their blood voluntarily including 16 males and 3 females.

Dr. P.Shylla, Senior Doctor & Health Office, Incharge Blood Bank Civil Hospital Jowai in her speech enlightened the students on the importance and benefit of donating blood and also appreciated the Adventist Youth of NEAU for their continuous support and cooperation.

Dr. P Bhaggien Vice Chancellor of NEAU, Staff and students of NEAU were present during the awareness programme and blood donation drive.
